Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters met personally to build hype for next month's bout.
Ex two-time unified title holder Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to damage his features and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather criticized ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's biggest financial successes, regularly earning massive paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters met for the traditional face-off, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually going ahead.
